THEME
Artists worldwide are invited to submit artwork to our first ever online exhibition, “BOLD”.
In this inaugural exhibition, BOLD invites artists to showcase their best and boldest work. Artists are encouraged to explore the concept of “bold” in all its forms. Whether it be bold in size, bold in detail, bold in color, a bold use of medium, or conceptually bold in subject matter or presentation. By choosing to explore the theme of Bold, artists are invited to delve into the rich complexity that has inspired creative thinkers for centuries.
SCHEDULE
All entries are due by July 31st, 2023 at 11:59pm AST. No artworks will be accepted past this deadline.
Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will be announced via ArtCall no later than August 19th, 2023
AWARDS
A panel of jurors will select the accepted artworks from all of the artworks entered. A judge, or panel of judges, will then select the winners of each award as outlined below:

ALL ACCEPTED ARTISTS will be featured on our “Participating Artists” page, including promotion of social media links, biographies, and artists statements. All accepted artworks will be displayed in our online gallery.
All cash awards will be paid via PayPal.
(Note: Winners must accept their cash award via PayPal within 90 days of award announcement. If the payment is not accepted via PayPal within 90 days, the prize is forfeited. Winners are notified of their awards via email and through ArtCall.org. Art Epic is not responsible for unreceived emails. It is the Winner’s responsibility to check their ArtCall account to see if they have won an award)

ARTIST ELIGIBILITY
This call is open to artists over the age of 18, worldwide, both amateur and professional.
If an artist has previously won The Art Epic Award, that artist may not be awarded another cash prize for 3 months, and may not be awarded another Art Epic Award for 6 months. However, they are still eligible to enter and can win non-cash awards.
ARTWORK ELIGIBILITY
This exhibition is ONLINE ONLY - you will not have to provide the artwork physically. Artworks that have been sold or have won awards through other organizations are eligible to enter.
Open to paintings, drawings, digital painting and drawing (excluding AI generated art), fine art photography, mixed media and sculpture.
There is no size restriction and no restriction to subject matter.
Artwork must be original to the submitting artist. Images that infringe upon another’s copyright will be disqualified. Art Epic reserves the right to investigate and determine originality.
All submissions must be made through ArtCall.org. Email, social media, and/or physical submissions will not be accepted.
SELECTION PROCESS
Each show is curated and juried by the Art Epic creative director, along with a committee of jurors.
The criteria used to judge will vary per medium. Overall considerations include demonstration of technical skill, thoughtful composition, and adherence to the exhibition theme.
The decision of the jury and the judge is final. No personal feedback will be provided.
ENTRY PROCEDURE
Entries are accepted exclusively through the ArtCall.org website, allowing artists to upload images and organize their artwork for submission. If you don’t already have an ArtCall account, click the Register button at the top right corner of the page to create an account. MEDIA PREPARATION
All images must be in JPG/PNG format. There is no required format for naming your file, as all files are programmatically renamed on upload.

SALES
All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist. If any artwork is sold as a result of this exhibition, the artist receives 100% of the sale. Art Epic charges no commission.
REGULATIONS
By submitting images of artwork to this online gallery, the artist agrees that the images are their own original work of which they own all rights. The submitting artist takes full responsibility for the content of all images, including the likeness of recognizable individuals. All artwork remains the property of the artist. Accepted artists grant Art Epic the right to reproduce images on their website and social media where appropriate for promotional purposes only. Art Epic will always credit the artist. Art Epic will not use an artist's images for any other purpose without the artist's permission.
